Ryan Skitt is the founder and director of Skitt Group, a dynamic UK-based property development and land acquisition company focused on unlocking hidden value through design-led, strategic investment.
A highly driven and entrepreneurial individual, Ryan has built a solid foundation in the property and built environment sector from a young age. His journey began with a passion for architecture and urban development, which quickly evolved into real-world application across planning, design, and construction. Ryan's career has been shaped not only by academic excellence but by genuine, hands-on experience on active construction projects, property management, and architectural design delivery.
From Design to Development
Alongside Skitt Group, Ryan also leads Affordable Architectural, a fast-growing design consultancy providing high-quality architectural drawings for planning applications across the UK. Through this venture, he has worked with dozens of homeowners, developers, and landlords—delivering professional drawing packages, feasibility advice, and design concepts that meet both planning and building regulations. His work bridges the gap between accessible design and development-ready solutions.
This dual perspective—being deeply involved in both the design and development sides—gives Ryan a unique ability to spot and unlock opportunities that others may overlook.
Experience on the Ground
Unlike many in the industry who rely solely on theoretical knowledge, Ryan has gained hands-on construction site experience, working closely with contractors, surveyors, and project teams to understand the realities of building and managing property. He has also been directly involved in property management, overseeing residential buy-to-let assets and building long-term systems for operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
Ryan's exposure to both the design desk and the construction site informs his approach at Skitt Group: practical, grounded, and results-driven.
