From Design to Development

I’m Ryan Skitt, Founder & Managing Director of Skitt Group — a forward-thinking property venture focused on architectural design, strategic development, and proptech. I bring practical experience in planning and CAD, combined with a long-term vision to scale into high-impact property development and digital innovation across the built environment.

My mission is to build a vertically integrated group that designs, develops, and manages properties — while also creating software tools to transform how the property industry works.

Skitt Group exists to deliver value through smart planning, creative uplift strategies, and systems that support long-term growth for both clients and investors.

My Journey So Far

Alongside Skitt Group, I also lead Affordable Architectural — a fast-growing design consultancy delivering high-quality planning drawings across the UK. Through this venture, I’ve worked with dozens of homeowners, developers, and landlords — providing professional drawing packages, feasibility advice, and concept designs that align with both planning and building regulations.

This dual experience — in both design and early-stage development — gives me a unique ability to spot and unlock opportunities others may overlook.

Experience on the Ground

Unlike many in the industry who rely solely on theory, I’ve gained hands-on experience working alongside contractors, surveyors, and project teams on real construction sites. I’ve also overseen residential buy-to-let assets, managing operations and building long-term systems for tenant satisfaction and efficiency.

This exposure — from the design desk to the job site — shapes everything I do at Skitt Group: practical, grounded, and results-driven.
